Mangroves Eco Tourism is a Self Help Group of 10 members ably led by Krishna Kumar Mundangatt, deeply passionate about ecologically responsible tourism offering a wide array of services at an affordable cost.

The boats are licensed to operate by the Marine Department of Beypore Port and duly insured with the authorities. They are equipped with life-saving equipment like life jackets and lifebouys. The boat rowers are also expert divers and swimmers experienced in vital life-saving skills.

They are ably supported by Kadalundi Grama Panchayat in this venture, in probably a first-of-a-kind venture into sustainable tourism, which aims to change the tourism landscape of Kadalundi and nearby places.

The concept of eco-friendly mangrove cruise is effectively planned and implemented facilitating views of mangrove clusters, island life, fishing practices, bridges, Kadalundi bird sanctuary and estuary.
